The biggest enemy known to Team Lyoko, the Kolossus is a huge alien like monster that looks like it's made up of molten lava. It has a huge arm which it uses as a sword to attack Team Lyoko and the Skid. Hitting just one Eye of XANA has no effect, although it slows it down for a period of time. Although it might seem as the Kolossus is almighty, it has one weakness: Because of its size, the Kolossus can only walk a couple of steps per second making it easy to outrun it either on a vehicle or on foot. It makes its first appearance in the episode Cold Sweat, where it nearly destroys the Skid. The monster has a face similar to the Tarantulas. In Down to Earth it destroys the Skid with one strike. In order to destroy it, one would have to simultaneously hit the Eye of XANA on its head and its arm. Ulrich managed this feat in Fight to the Finish, thus destroying it. The Kolossus appeared in Code Lyoko DS 2.

- The Kolossus is the largest of XANA's monsters, and it is the most destructive.
- It is the only monster that does not explode when it is defeated, but it is believed that it disappears or crumbles into smallers bits of rock some time after its defeat.
- The Kolossus is the only monster that has been shown to tilt or even push over Towers.
- The Kolossus has only appeared in the Ice sector and the replika of the Ice sector.
- Some fans believe that the Kolossus was created from the fire of the Volcano sector, given its appearance.
- When the Kolossus grabs onto a tower, the heat from his hand causes the aura on the tower to turn red just around his hand.
- The Kolossus needs so much energy that XANA needs to gather energy from all the replikas before the Kolossus can appear.
